
Ok, you knew about Keukenhof, you saw the ads and all. But do you know about the gigantic parade? Maybe now I have your undivided attention, then!
Every year, floats are designed, covered with flowers, and they ride for more than 20 kilometers on one Saturday between Noordwijk and Haarlem, in a very festive and heartwarming procession.
This year, the Bloemencorso will occur on April 13th, and you can find the detailed information and timetable for the route by following this link.
It is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon out of the beaten tracks and bring back some memories and pictures that no one else among oyour friends have!
Last year, there were more than 50 floats!
One possible idea is to create an information document about the event for the people who will check in the few days prior.
Thanks to the route (link above) it is easy to choose a city, go from Amsterdam with the train. Sasseneim is only 35 min away with the train!
(Heemstede and Haarlem are closer by, but the floats do arrive quite late)
