\nThe Damrak flourishes and the Flower market gets more colourful.\u00a0 Unsurprinsigly, tourists who have been perusing guide books and preparing their trip will also ask you where they can see more and more tulips!<\/p>\n

Although we have all seen the picture of the impressive tulip fields, those are not open to mass tourism. Therefore, the best place to be amazed by the national flowers is to go to Keukenhof, the largest flower garden in Europe, located in the small town of Lisse.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Going to Keukenhof is not as easy at it seems. which makes sense, as it is quite far from Amsterdam!\"\"<\/p>\n

With\u00a0public transportation<\/strong>, depending on where your hotel is in the city, you can count more than an hour to get there, with changes. Therefore it is a solution that should be advised only for the expert travellers who are comfortable going outside of the city on their own.
\nOf course, most of the time, there is never any issue, but in case of a strike, road works, or an empty battery, being far away from Amsterdam can be quite a hassle. Do not hesitate to tell your adventurous guests to download the app “9292”, and to pack an external battery.<\/p>\n

Many tours are also organized, and in all likelihood, your hotel works with a company that organizes bus trips. This is definitely the best solution for the older guests, or people who have issues speaking English. Most of the departures leave from the bus station at the back of Amsterdam Centraal, but check with your partners the possibilities for pick-up, just in case.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Ok, you knew about Keukenhof, you saw the ads and all. But do you know about the gigantic parade? Maybe now I have your undivided attention, then!<\/p>\n

Every year, floats are designed, covered with flowers, and they ride for more than 20 kilometers on one Saturday between Noordwijk and Haarlem, in a very festive and heartwarming procession.<\/p>\n

This year, the Bloemencorso will occur on April 13th, and you can find the detailed information and timetable for the route by following this link<\/a>.
\nIt is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon out of the beaten tracks and bring back some memories and pictures that no one else among oyour friends have!<\/p>\n

Last year, there were more than 50 floats!\"\"<\/p>\n

One possible idea is to create an information document about the event for the people who will check in the few days prior.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the route (link above) it is easy to choose a city, go from Amsterdam with the train. Sasseneim is only 35 min away with the train!
\n(Heemstede and Haarlem are closer by, but the floats do arrive quite late)<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
